Submission

We welcome submissions of full and short papers and demonstrations on the topics related to the conference (for more information see the Call for Papers/Demos).

Full and short papers should be prepared following the guidelines of the IFIP Series Advances in Information and Communication Technology (AICT), available at Springer and submitted through Easy Chair.

Manuscripts must STRICTLY adhere to the template format.

To obtain templates for LaTeX and MS Word and their instructions for typesetting the paper click here.

Instructions for submission of papers to be reviewed:

  1. Insert at the top of the first page “Full Paper” or “Short Paper”, depending on the type of paper you are submitting. Only one of these categories must be selected. The number of pages in the paper should be consistent with your selection (see Call for Papers/Demos for more information).
  2. Make sure you include in the keywords one or several of the topics belonging to the main areas of the Forum (see Call for Papers/Demos for more information). Selecting the topics that best relate to your paper will assist in the reviewing process.
  3. Upload papers only in PDF format. Make sure papers are formatted according to the AICT guidelines, as explained above. Instructions for submitting accepted papers will be sent later.
  4. We must be able to print your paper, once it is submitted. Therefore, all fonts used in the paper must be embedded in the submitted PDF file.
  5. The paper must be able to print clearly on standard black-and-white printers. Reviewers are not required to view your paper in color.

Camera Ready Submission Instructions

  1. Final Paper: Please submit the files belonging to your camera-ready paper using your EasyChair author account. Follow the instructions after the login for uploading two files:
    1. Either a zipped file containing all your LaTeX sources or a Word file in the RTF format, and
    2. PDF version of your camera-ready paper.
Papers should have the required length, otherwise they will not be published:
    1. Full papers can have 10 to 12 pages (2 additional pages are possible at an additional cost).
    2. Short papers should have 5 to 7 pages (1 additional page is possible at and additional cost).
Please follow strictly the author instructions of Springer-Verlag when preparing the final version: Springer instructions.
Our publisher has recently introduced an extra control loop: Once data processing is finished, they will contact all corresponding authors and ask them to check their papers. We expect this to happen shortly before the printing of the proceedings. At that time your quick interaction with Springer-Verlag will be greatly appreciated.
  2. Revised version: Please provide also a brief document explaining how you have addressed the comments made by reviewers about your paper and, how you fixed error and typos, if any. With this document the quality of your final work would be easier to check. This information is mandatory to validate your camera ready version. This document has to be sent by e-mail to apont@disca.upv.es.
  3. Copyright: Please, also upload a signed and completed copyright form. A partially completed Springer copyright form can be found at Witfor Copyright.
  4. In this version, you only have to add the title of your paper, author(s) name(s) and corresponding authors. It is sufficient for one of the authors to sign the copyright form. Then, you can scan the form into PDF or any other standard image format.
  5. Authors's registration: Please, do not forget that at least one author per accepted paper must register for WITFOR at the full registration rate (CLEI/IFIP member or non-member and IFIP/CLEI students). This requirement applies even if the author is a student.
The registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the camera-ready version of the paper and are not refundable. To do your registration follow the instructions provided i: Witfor Registatrion.
